This is a low-res model for a 2D side-scrolling, sprite-based, free-to-play shmup game I’m currently making in Adobe Flash.
All CG models developed for the game are used to create the 2D vehicle and creature sprite-sheets (which are about 200 x 200 pixels in size).
Since each stage (11 in total) has about 12 unique enemy craft designs, speed is very important in developing the CG assets. It takes me about a day to complete one model, thanks to the awesome model sheets and conceptual artwork provided by
who helped create nearly all enemy unit designs for the entire game.
