really good work......as a scifi art enthusiast: keep a design ethic consistent through out the painting, use consistent motifs and colours. Look around you for influences and then build the world from a single point and idea. Just go with it. Have fun and when you feel you're thinking about it too hard, you usually are.

interesting. it looks like the earth with a terraformed moon with a bunch purple hoop-like craft coming off of it while looking through a computer screen. cool
SUGGESTIONS FROM A SCIENCE FICTION FAN!!!!
1: the design should showcase the raw function of technology it possesses. (Not exactly realistic, cause y'know it being the future and all it has all kinds of crazy stuff)BUT NO MATTER! for the sake of the audience it must show function. i can't tell what those hoops are other than the fact that they look awesome.
2: Keep the design aesthetically consistent. (In an apocalyptic future, for example, a tribal staff would likely be made out of a conglomerate of rusty, decaying remnants of our modern society. In a bright future, in contrast, everything would likely be sleek, uniform, and have lots of advertisements for stuff that would otherwise contain deadly gamma radiation. (but that's just my opinion.)) The hoops keep an aesthetically consistent feel, which is good. they are all purple hoops.
3: DETAIL and DECORATION. Add any little geometrical nooks, crannies, or techy doodads wherever possible. Exposed machinery, like wires or whatever substitutes wires, helps. Also, add any decals which might indicate what corporation or sentient civilization made it.
Anyway, i'm starting to ramble and i'm sorry for that. Have a good day and i hope you enjoyed my advice.
